The Bi-Weekly Comcast v Uverse Thread

So I've had enough of AT&T. Was paying $95 per month for 18Mbps and 200 cable channels, plus HD and DVR. Then they lied to me, literally, and now my cost is $105 per month for 24Mbps and the other crap.
That deal ends in March. The best they can do is give me the 24Mbps and 300 cable channels including Starz and Encore for $122 per month. I give no fricks about Stars or Encore. I don't really care about increasing the number of channels I have, but if I don't increase the channels, I will still have to pay $122 per month, so what the frick ever.
I can go to Comcast for $100 per month with DVR, HD, 140 Channels (including all the ones I want) plus HBO and 50Mbps for 12 months, and then $110 for the next 12 months after that. Obviously, this deal makes AT&T's look like the pile of steaming shite that it is.
Here's my question: Is Comcast's customer service so much worse that saving $22 per month plus getting the service I actually want makes it not worth it? Because I gotta tell you, I'm not all that impressed with AT&T's customer service. Like I said, I was flat lied to by one of their representatives and basically told tough shite, deal with it.

Great input. This isn't really a tech question.

Newsflash: They all suck. Just cut the cord and only have internet access. Eventually they will either change or just start charging more for internet access.

Uverse isn't any better, and the Internet speed is noticeably slower, but I'll never give comcast another dime of my money.

Told me I would get the 24 Mbps internet for $3 more per month. It's $10 more. Was on the phone for over an hour telling them I was told the one and they said that didn't happen and if it did, sorry but that's wrong. The $7 difference isn't a major issue, but the being lied to, or "misinformed" as they said, is a major issue to me.

Comcast is the shittiest company on the planet.
AT&T must be really bad that you are even considering it.

Just stopping by to say frick Comcast and everything they stand for. It would physically hurt me to give them another penny of my money.
Good luck to you in your cable and Internet endeavors.

Cut the cord. Then you won't have to start these dumb threads.

And who should be my provider? I only have 2 to choose from unless I want some shite arse DSL provider (not AT&T) with a whopping 6Mbps download speed.
ETA: Hint: the two to choose from are the topic of discussion.

I have no complaints about Comcast's customer service. Any problem I had has been solved quickly over the phone or a tech came out with the quickness. Maybe I got lucky.

Uverse is much better, but DirectTV is the best (I have UVerse). UVerse is a strong product owned by a huge shitty bureaucratic company. It'd be like Apple deciding to sell their products only at Wal-Mart.

I cut the cord, brah.

Cutting the cord still requires slow and over priced Internet
