When you think of moms, do you think of millennials? You should. Nearly all new mothers — about 90% — were millennials last year compared to 50% a decade ago, according to Goldman Sachs. The average millennial's age this year is 25, while that of their average first-time mother is 26.

That's in part because the millennial generation — which Goldman defines as those born between 1980 and 2000 — makes up a massive 29% chunk of the U.S. population. On top of that, the report estimates that raising a child from infancy through college graduation now costs parents north of half a million dollars.

Also: Millennials leaving church in droves, study finds

quote:

In the meantime, almost every major branch of Christianity in the United States has lost a significant number of members, Pew found, mainly because millennials are leaving the fold. More than one-third of millennials now say they are unaffiliated with any faith, up 10 percentage points since 2007.

The males entering high school and college in the 2030-2035 time frame are going to have the times of their lives. I'm pissed at them already.

People just don't get married as often. Later than normal, if they do at all.

Nah, we'll have Generation Z to bitch about soon enough, and the cycle of fearing those who are smarter and more efficient than you shall continue.

I can't wait to tell my son, "back when I was your age, if we didn't get our way we just rioted and tore up cities, then got on this cool little thing called Tumblr and bitched about how oppressed we were. They called us Social Justice Warriors, and what warriors we were. Those were the good ole days, son."

I doubt anyone born in 1980 -1985 considers themselves a millennial. I sure don't, but then again, my mom did call and ask if I could get a raise at work, so I could afford to move into my own place.

j/k
lol

If we could only convince the WWII generation to start having kids again. These millennials are getting out of control.
