People call me a racist, an attention whore, a bigot, a fat bastard, and a host of other things. I take it all in stride. Why? Because if I remained silent, the progress that is potentially about to happen in our community would still be whispered about in our private talks rather than front page stories. Sometimes it takes having an extreme approach. We tried all that politically correct crap and we didn't do anything to change the state we are in. Last night when the signs were posted no standing on the wall in the chamber, I talked to every council member, the chief of police, and the mayors chief administrative officer and expressed the discrimination taking place. The signs never came down but the people were allowed to stand on the wall. Why? Because every council meeting I've attended with a major issue people stood on those walls. If you allow people to start out discriminating against you they will continue throughout.
I stand for what's right and I don't cut corners trying to tell the truth. I just speak the truth. Sometimes that makes people dislike me, rather than dislike reality. People need someone to blame and I guess I'm that guy a lot. I'll continue to do good and seek Justice, because I believe God called us all to do so. Call me whatever you like... At this time I want to thx people like Gary Chambers and Arthur Reed for takin a stand when u kno there are sum that might hate yr guts. But u still stand yr ground and without baggin down but it's not jus their fight it's The Black Baton Rouge fight. And I must say I saw a lot of older people that have been tryin push this bill for police reform through here and still here it is 40 yrs later and they still tryin push it that's sad very sad. What does that say ?? that those who claim to be 4 us isn't really 4 us. I saw high school kids stand and say they want to see a change but still no change. But all I can say is people you need to go to these meetin and see first hand what the people or doin who we help put in them place. And they sat their without a worrie in this world r another 4 a matter fact. People we out number so if u really care bout yr future and yr kids future and yr black this is time to prove a point. Make sure u can vote this election !!!

Check out my latest editorial. Not only do we pay officers outside the parish more money, but of 192 RANKING officers only 42 are black. There are 150 RANKING white officers in BRPD. You can't reform a department if it's the "good ole boys" network.
