Sweet potato pie is tricky to get right, IMO.

English peas are to be avoided at all times.

I love a good homemade pecan pie with a dollop of cool whip on top. I also love a good sweet potato pie with whip cream, and pumpkin pie too. Interestingly, I don't love diabetes.

My dad makes the best oyster dressing in the world. Recipe passed down from his mother, from her mother, and on and on. I don't think I even knew what cornbread dressing was until I was grown and married, and went to the exes for dinner. Now, I usually get both. But oyster dressing, with rice and gravy?

I'd never had any other dressing/stuffing till my brother-in-law started coming to dinner and brought it along. I can take it or leave it.
