Text from my niece: Active Shooter near Baylor Campus

I am so sorry if this is against the TOA with no "credible" source but we're getting several texts from students and family members of ours about an active shooter on Baylor's campus in Waco, Tx. Anyone else hearing something similar?

Shooting Near Baylor It's all over the google. Shooter dead and victim taken to hospital.

If you google it the guy appears to be dead and it happened like three hours ago. On my phone so too lazy to link.

It was off campus, but just a few blocks away from a neighborhood heavily inhabited by students. When the shooter fled, he headed in the general direction of campus, so that led to the lockdown.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the shooter died. I think just the victim died. Not that any of that matters for the purpose of this thread.

Baylor is in Waco. There's always an active shooter near campus.

Not on campus, shooting was several blocks away and perp ran in direction of campus when fleeing. Black male, mid 20's, tank top and shorts. All clear sent out an hour or so later
I get the Baylor alerts as a parent. Campus was on lockdown for a while.

I had no idea that parents get alerts now. Seems like a great way to stress out parents every time an incident happens in adjacent neighborhoods.

Your colon then description without quotations makes it seem like you are describing your neice as the shooter.
