I was an infantryman, and I have had my struggles as well. My experience is that people who pull these kind of stunts in the OP generally aren't the type that really care about open carry or anything of the sort. They're not attention whores, and they're too wrapped up in their own minds to get bothered about it, anyway.
My buddy doesn't give out cards and shite. He just goes to a lot of counseling and takes a ton of meds.
I agree that this dude is likely an attention whore, but there are some vets with legitimate triggers when it comes to gun, loud noises, etc.

How is he infringing on anyone's right? Neither is.
FWIW, I support open carry. But why won't most federal and state buildings allow it on their premises too?

Dude was a tank mechanic in Gulf War I. I question whether he even has a legitimate diagnosis or actually milked the system.

How is he infringing on rights? He is simply stated that he will not be back to this business bc of the owners policy.

Does he flip out every time he sees a cop. Cops are just people with guns. They commit crimes too. How can you determine their intention. We have made guns the villain. We have implanted in the mindset of society that guns are for murderers. If a guy wants to shoot you at that restaurant, the fact that he's showing you the holster as opposed to hiding it under his shirt tail doesn't make a difference when the trigger gets pulled. If anything you get some advanced warning. People are stupid

not really related, I just want to point out, people with ptsd can be fricking insane. I've seen 2 incidents recently where someone who had it freaked out from nothing. One was I stood up and the dude almost tackled me because I "stood up too fast." And another guy almost beat up a mentally challenged woman because she wouldn't listen to him.
