It's better to put some of the story in the op. That said, did he not know about the door release by the seat?

Can you not break a window in that situation? Seems odd.

Mike Flash, the owner of Corvette Specialties, told 12News that the 2007 Corvette has a manual release located on the floorboard by the driver's seat. But Rogers did not know that.

That's horrible. Poor guy accidentally left his phone inside of the Waffle House as well so he had no way to call for help. Some serious Murphy's Law stuff going on. RIP.

He did not and apparently wasn't strong enough to break out the windows. Says it looks like he died while going through the manual.

He couldn't break the window? Do the seat headrests not disconnect?

1) I think I would have broken the windshield
2) Did he not have a cellphone?

how the hell do you get trapped in your own car in front of what I am guessing a busy waffle house...and die?

The only people I know that isnt strong enought to break the window is my 22 month old kid and my 88 year old grandfather. My grandfather has a cane, so im confident he'd figure it out.
