I couldn't stand houston when I lived there. I think commuting from midtown to Katy every day for work really ruined it for me though, it would be interesting to go back and live in that area with a different set of eyes.

You folks get the same weather systems we do, it's been the warmest winter I can remember. Amarillo has had more snow this winter than Juneau.
