Joke all you want but this will be a problem in the future for us.

Plus, why is the CDC sending an Ebola response team to this hospital?

From what I understand, They haven't done that with any of the other suspected cases.

They sent a team to New Orleans for the people with malaria. LINK
At present, suspicion of Ebola is cause for the CDC to send a team out. Probably nothing to see here. It's almost definitely not Ebola. If it is Ebola, the guy spends 2 weeks in isolation, lives or dies, and it's almost certain that no one else will suffer from it in Dallas due to him.

ETA: ok. He has Ebola. He's already in isolation 2/2 suspicion of Ebola. No outbreak will be occurring here.

You seem awfully certain that no outbreak will occur in the US. You're positive that this joker had no contact with anyone on the plane, at the airport or before he got to the hospital?

Probably irrelevant unless he was symptomatic on the airplane. You aren't contagious until you begin showing symptoms.

The biggest risk of spread. There aren't details out about how he moved from his place of residence to the hospital. Even still, quarantines and isolation here >>>> Africa. It's relatively difficult to get. Someone would have to come into contact with his bodily fluids. Think of all the flu seasons you saw someone with the flu and didn't get sick. It's fairly similar. It's possible that someone else, even a handful of people get sick. It will not reach epidemic proportion.

This is like the tenth "potential Ebola patient" story. It always, always turns out to be negative.

Good call.
