Are theses swarming termites? I found these frickers in my upstairs bedroom just under the window. I looked along the foundation and saw no sign of termites- like mud hole. I bought the house a year ago and had a termite inspection and home inspection - passed with fly colors. Tyia , I have three pest control companies coming out tomorrow for free quotes

I had these show up in a bathroom at my old lake house a cpl of times. It would just be one afternoon, once a year, they apparently died and I swept them up and that was it.

Like I said, happened twice and never again or never before.

No clue what they are.

Yeah, just swarmers.

But to be safe I'd start a fire.

All jokes aside you may have a problem. I can see swelling on your baseboard and that drywall crack didn't just happen. You have water getting through your walls and you probably have termite damage.

Formosan termites have not been identified in my state. There is always a first, but I think these are subterranean termites- hope my homeowners will cover it, since it looks as if the damage was caused by a leaky window
