Run Forest Run. We are planning to retire moving from Geismar which is close to Prairieville to Brookhaven Mississippi. Prairieville is expensive to live, bad traffic, roads are terrible, taxes are higher, living in Louisiana insurance is higher. Ascension Parish has flooding issues and keeps building subdivisions like BR to our North. Crime is getting worse moving in from BR/NO. The list goes on but you get the picture.

In Prarieville, I always felt like my chances of getting run over by a kid in a golf kart were much greater than dying from democrat’s gunfire.
