If you read the comments, I think that was his second donated heart. He screwed up the first one because he didn't do the rehab, then his mom pulled the race card when the hospital brought it up.

Have seen this card played multiple times. During residency had a 20 year old go through 3 kidneys because noncompliant with meds/followup. But they kept giving him kidneys. Family was worthless.

Cosmo: How does a non-compliant transplant patient get back to the top of the transplant list for a second time, much less a third? Y'all must have been rolling in kidneys that matched that imbecile.
FishFighter: It sucks for a guy like you who is doing "okay" (in a very relative sense...) while on the list. Patients with more severe or acute symptoms get bumped ahead of you, and you have to continue to deal with an ever worsening chronic problem. Hope you get the match you deserve soon.
