people are just rude there.
in baton rouge when i see people slapping their gator arms at fla people, i know that if they said... "hey, frick you dude. that's rude."
tiger fans would be all, "ehhh just kidding here's some boudin and beer! geaux tigers! have fun tailgating!"

not there though. just rude.

You should be fine.. Both programs are a dumpster fire right now so there wont be much shite talking I'm sure.

As for parking, depends on what time you get here tomorrow.

Some of my awful friends and my beautiful family (whom I also hate) have made the trip to Gainesville and seeking any advice on where to park and get drunk prior to kick-off. Thanks for any advice.

All city parking is lifted during the weekend so it's really not that hard to find a free spot to park. Behind midtown there are a lot of parking spots but what used to be my secret spot was in Golfview which is off 2nd ave. It's a neighborhood with city parking inside not many people know about.

Regarding tailgating, it's really spread out because there are a lot of houses within a mile radius of the stadium. Because GPD sucks balls, most people like to just throw tailgates at their houses (me included).

If I were you I'd hit up the midtown bars if you can't find a decent tailgate. They're about 5 minutes walking distance from the stadium. If you can get a table in the from lawn of the Swamp restaurant it'd be a good place to hang out before the game.

Gainesville cops and campus police are dicks. They harass opposing fans with a vengeance.

Twelve forty five and the child is still alive and unharassed. Not quite the thunder dome you negative Nancy 's made it out to be.

I would bring a tv. There are some great games today and you don't want to miss them being at that game.

Bout to crash, but gotta say this was an awesome experience. I don't know if it's because both teams are dog shite but everyone was super cordial. Almost everyone, there was one count who threw a fit about Lucas junior spilling a drink behind her, i made him apologize and she screamed til she upset him A LOT. So the surrounding Florida fans saw how upset he was and made a huge effort to cheer him up. One woman actually bought him some cotton candy. Florida fans made a huge good impression on the P family. Good times.

Yeah Florida fans have always been great to me and we go to the game every year (whether it's in Gainesville or BR). I've never gotten the whole "UF fans are assholes" nonsense. I'm glad you had a great time like we always do. If yall spent any time in mid after the game I probably gave you a "Geaux Tigahs".
