Thoughts? We are looking at leaving Verizon. T-mobile would save us tons 'o money a month and gives us unlimited data.

...but what about coverage? They claim 96% of America is now covered. Can I trust them?

I had T-Mobile for almost ten years but their reception started to get worse so we had to drop them.

Got worse? Did you live in the same area? Where did you live?

I've had tmobile for close to 15 years. Couldn't tell you the last time I had a dropped all, but I don't go way, way into the sticks either. I can tell you driving around the bayou hasn't been a problem for me. In major areas like NOLA, BR, etc I love it. I urge you to give them a try. I believe you can cancel within 30 days.

Do you travel often? They have agreements for roaming (but data goes down to 3G) and they also let you use Wi-Fi to make calls.

Wife has it. Loves it. Unlimited data.

No problem with T-Mobil in New Orleans or Baton Rouge.

Great value, but there are plenty of backwoods areas where I don't get service, but for two phones, unlimited data/voice/etc. and a bill that's under $100 I'll deal.

Same area for the whole time. Canton, Georgia just north of Atlanta.

I have it. It isn't the best around Biloxi or in the country. If Verizon wasn't so much more expensive, I would change

I've had T-Mobile for a while. Great reception and coverage.

Go here, put in the zip code of where you will use it and you can compare coverage for all carriers. Upload/download speed, etc. All from data points of users in that area.

you need to ask people who use it in the areas you would need to use it.

dont know about in louisiana but when i had it in texas it was great. use verizon over here and can't complain about the coverage, the little fees they slip in the monthly bill can frick off, however.

I never have coverage traveling between major cities with T-Mobile. I needed a tow truck once, and I had to make an emergency call while roaming (thank God for that law).
