Talk about a cool product. This could solve a lot of world problems in my opinion.

SunToWater has developed a product capable of easily removing families off the grid to a more sustainable water conservation solution allowing you to make your own water from the air. The Water Generator produces 40-100 gallons of water per day which is enough water to sustain household needs such as laundry, showering, and landscaping.

The water collected is contaminant free and meets the World’s Health Organization standards for drinking water. The Atmospheric Water Generator can also be operated via AC power, solar and thermal panels making the cost per gallon of $0.04 – $0.06 (when used with electricity) to $0.08 – $0.12 per gallon (when used with solar panels). Due to the Water Generators unique and economical design, the unit is virtually maintenance free and comes with a 10 year warranty.

No. This thing can make 40-100 gallons a day with as little as 14% humidity.

So what would happen to the environment if every household had one?

Sounds like it would never rain again.

so 40 at 14% and 100 at 99% Its just a dehumidifier... Would love to see the prices come down and I could use it for cattle instead of digging a pond.

That is way beyond just cool ... that is an incredible idea.

It'll get shut down by the bottled water companies.

Sounds amazing, which means some special interest groups will lobby congress and shut this down.

Complete bullshite taking advantage of how poorly so many people are at basic sciences these days. I don't care how special the desiccant they use is, the latent heat of vaporization of water is still the same and it takes a hell of a lot more than 500W to condense enough water vapor into a liquid US gallon and that's assuming textbook perfect circumstances where things like insulation and friction are ignored. These are the same bogus crap claims as those made by supporters of solar sidewalks/roadways.

I've seen commercial dehumidifiers run for 24 hrs in a room with wet walls and carpet and collect about 2 gallons of water. There's no way in hell its possible to collect 100 gallons a day. The unit would have to be the size of a house.

Did you even look at the people involved in this company. Very impressive group with what looks to be a ton of money behind them.
