Yeah , it was about 10 years ago when we went and it was just having trouble that day. Like the engineer said , they are pretty authentic steam engines and made for a long day. Still beautiful and hope to do it again sometime. The chuckwagon cook out is I believe just north of Durango heading towards Silverton on the highway. Just good fun. western music, comedy and in a beautiful setting. Food is really good too and if I remember, very reasonably price. Just great family atmosphere. If you get the chance check it out at www.bardwranglers. com. Thanks again for the great summer pics. Certainly brings back great memories for me. Best of Luck on the new coaching job.

That's my hometown..! I grew up in Durango... Grew up skiing purg... My first job was at the Strater Hotel in downtown built in 1887..I lived on Dalton Ranch golf club just north if town(parents still there)

No there was a motorcycle thread last night and everyone piled on Darth. Invitations for arse whippings and all. It was epic. The IM crowd really hammered the dude. It was later deleted.

Purgatory is a great. Learned to ski there. Back side of the mountain is hermosa creek. Very fun spot to fly fish in the summers. Have fun.
