I spent nearly a week in Istanbul A few years ago and absolutely loved it; one of my top places to visit this makes me really sad

I remember the street being much busier than that. I would think they could have done much more damage, thankfully.

I've got a friend who lives in Ankara and he says the recent bombings have really shaken up the populace. Less people are going out now and tourism is declining. Sucks as Turkey is a beautiful country and the people, for the most part, are awesome.
