Stupid Criminal Stories

I always get a kick out of hearing stories about the dumb things criminals do to get caught, so I figured I would share this one:
SO's brother had his wallet stolen at the Houston airport last week. Whoever stole it then proceeded to use the credit card to pay his home electric bill.
Police are given a copy of the billing statement, and proceed to drive to the idiot's house and arrest him. The electric company then rescinded the payment and turned off their power again.
Anyone else have good stories of criminal dumbassery?
