1) That kid looked 13

2) Why did the preacher bring a 70 year old body guard along?

3) Credit where credit is due....the preacher is the only one in that video that turned the other cheek.

That kid is the stereotypical liberal millennial. I can't believe he was crying like that

I also like how the kid was blaming the preacher for "provoking him" to assault the preacher.

it's the modern left...physically attack others free speech without regard to consequences.

Whatever happened to rolling your eyes and walking by? Social Justice Warriors were created.

Yeah. Shut up, Mark.

Also was that kid a boy or girl? Tarded or not tarded? Pre-pubescent or post?

I remember a guy like that outside of the cafeteria in 98-99 at my college. He was getting the reaction he wanted saying all the right things about "homo's and whores". Me and some other guy's had to hold some people back.

Yeesh, that was embarrassing on all sorts of levels.

As much as I think the student is pathetic and out of line, the idea that he violated the pastor's right to free speech is ridiculous. Arizona State could violate that right, or some other form of government, but a private citizen has no obligation to adhere to any free speech protections. There is no difference between the student and someone who gets in a fight because a guy called him a bitch. They're just words and should be ignored, but if you fight someone over it, you're not in violation of the first amendment.

The internet constantly supports the idea that certain types of speech entitle someone to respond with physical violence.

I do wonder if that student was mentally challenged.

"YOUR SIGN IS frickING OFFENSIVE!"

I just...I just can't put myself in the shoes of these people that get so offended over words that have zero affect on their lives.

I've tried.

I just can't do it.

Trying to physically prevent someone from saying something is silencing speech.

Most definitely, and he was completely in the wrong. I'm just trying to get out ahead of the flurry of posts that usually cite free speech protections in these cases. The law that was broken was one of assault, not free speech.
