What’s the time frame we’re looking at?

I need to know what days to book hotel rooms…this Laura PTSD has my mind tumbling and not even sure how to process any of this right now.

Overnight Tropic Update:

An area of low pressure north of Colombia has a 70% of developing over the next 5 days. Still too soon to know what or even if it will bring any impacts to North and Central Texas early next week.

Still lots of uncertainty on where Invest #99L will go beyond the Caribbean, but synoptic pattern can reveal some clues.

A large upper-level low (ULL) over the Bahamas is producing a mid-level weakness. As the ULL moves W & decays, 99L may propagate NW towards the weakness.

But did the pool board approve it

The Chairman of the Pool Board resigned because a neighbor kept hitting up on his wife, so no decision has been reached.

Can someone explain this to me? I think he’s just hoping for the best. This comes from a meteorologist that is usually pretty damn good.

It just means in terms of probabilities. Lake Charles getting hit 3 times in 12 months is not likely.
