They were in my closed garage and they crawled over my 5' fence and went to the back of my house and found an unlocked door that led to the garage during middle of night. I live in what has always been a very safe neighborhood, but they saw my son on it that day and came back for that and the 4-wheeler that night. Keys are in the house now, just got security cameras all around the house, and we have now started setting the alarm, which lucky for them, we didn't do previously. My son mentioned getting a bar that you run through the spokes and lock.

I want to thank you so much for the info on the 3-wheeler! I compiled a 3 page type report with all of my info for the detectives and they were also looking for this and found it behind an abandoned house on Louisiana St and it has been returned to the owner, albeit in much worse condition. i was also told by detective two yamaha dirt bikes were recovered and returned to owner(s). Thanks again! Still missing two red Honda dirt bikes--125 and 230

frick that!
You got bigger problems than the missing bike.

I'd be house hunting.

Meanwhile I'd get a security system up and running and signs advertising that as well as motion sensing lights and lock the house up tight. I'd consider the firearm issue if it works for you.

But mostly house hunting.

Around October 1st I was driving down Myrtle Walk where it crosses South 15th street. I saw a bike like that being ridden by what looked like a teenager. The kid was thin and tall and wearing a white t shirt.
I used to ride an Elsinore Honda CR125 at Chipola at the same time period Martini did, so I still look close at these bikes when i see them.
I found it odd that such a brand new nice looking Honda dirt bike would be ridden down the street in that neighborhood, but didn't give it a thought after my initial reaction.
Hope you find it.

This is why I didnt buy a home in south Baton Rouge. I noticed too many opportunist kids roaming around at night especially when it's raining when I lived in spring lake by bluebonnet. They are like cock roaches except they steal your shite if it isn't secure.

Thanks for the info! Call the cops if you see if again and let them know a "friend's" dirt bike was stolen. I'll give this location to the detective.

The cops recovered two Yamahas yesterday. One was returned to owner and no owner on the other one has been found, but they only hold for 30 days before they destroy them. The one without an owner had gray skulls graphics/skins on fenders; not to say it wasn't done after it was stolen. I have pics of the one without owner. Let me know if you want to see them and how I can either post them or send to you.

You're doing the lord's work. Thank you for your service. I keep my bike locked up tight but remain vigilante, paranoid, and sympathetic to victims of theft. Love my yamaha. Keep it up

Thanks-When I get something on my mind I am pretty persistent. Cant stand the fact that some punks are stealing from people and enjoying what we paid for; what is ours!

We honestly live in a neighborhood that has not had many issues at all and I live in a gated part of the neighborhood, but they go through the woods an brush to bypass the gate. Started using alarm the next night, leave all lights on outside and we do now have security cameras all around the house. Gun for me (husband has guns) will be next.

All I want is feedback so I can send locations to detectives and they can continue to map out where things are seen. And, of course, for the unclaimed dirt bike to reach its owner.

Looks like BRPD is handling business, just a matter of catching up to the thieves.

Me--I don't care what kind of shape it's in. It's mine and I don't want them having the joy of using it.
