At the Starbucks on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville, Tenn. -- two miles from the U.S. military base -- store manager Shannon Feltz pours hot coffee for a group of veterans seated at a communal table

quote:

On a shelf next to the register are rows of green-and-white mugs reading: "Proudly serving those who serve." On Tuesday, the Clarksville store became one of 37 around the country designated by the coffeehouse chain as "Military Family Stores" -- stores staffed primarily by veterans and military spouses as part of a larger effort to employ service members and their families nationwide.

Add Starbucks to the list of progressive, liberal, leftist, globalist, communist, deep state, cuck companies that I'm boycotting!

People who boycott Starbucks because of this issue are idiots.

Notwithstanding this, their coffee is terrible, and will continue to be terrible.

I've never stepped foot in or had a sip of Starbucks in my life, don't plan to change that any time soon.

I know it's cool and macho to hate on Starbucks around here, but their iced coffee and cold brew is truly some of the strongest coffee out there. It's the only coffee that gets me going.

Sad that veterans get so little support from the country they served that companies are pressured into veteran affirmative action.

I never understood the desire to pay $5 for a cup of coffee, but yeah, boycott them.

I'm gonna continue to boycott Starbucks. Not because they love everything progressive, but because their coffee is God awful and overpriced.

I'm a Veteran. Boycotting anything, really, is for phags. Boycotting and protesting are tools used by SJW douches who wear pussy hats.

Carry on with your day as usual, and don't let something this small have an effect on your life. Their coffee is decent, but I prefer Dunkin.

There was already plenty of things to hate about Starbucks... the fact that they call sizes shite like "venti" and "grande", or that they are ridiculously overpriced, or that the coffee fricking sucks.

I'll stick to paying $1.59 for a LARGE (frick a grande) coffee at the gas station.

How is this a complete 180 didn't they announce back in 2013 they were going to hire 10000 veterans in five years and did it in four. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. This is something they have been doing for years.
