Perhaps individuals who want to see there money spent wisely do. St. Jude has appeared on more than one list of least efficient charities, while similar type charities avoid the tag.

It's pathetic that this is where we are in today's time.
A hospital for kids is refusing a ton of money, because they don't like the name of the organization which has absolutely nothing to do about race.
That's so very wrong. It's sickening.

Every company is getting stocked with SJWs because most companies want graduate students to work for them.
Guess what non-STEM graduate programs are teaching their students?
I'm in a program right now that has a technical writing specialization available, and even those students are inundated with SJW topics on simple shite like how to write an instruction manual for a vacuum cleaner.
I've said this before on here - as a staunch defender of liberal arts and the humanities, it pains me to see how many radical SJWs have infiltrated what should be a valuable education.

I will no longer be supporting.

I'm not going to act like I have some faux outrage over this, but damn, what a crock of bullshite.
St Judes does great things but they need a for this one.

a lot of you are missing the big picture here. I understand this PC bullshite is frustrating, but telling them to take their money elsewhere and you others saying you will stop donating are incredibly short-sighted. You aren't hurting St. Jude's, you're hurting the children they are trying to treat.

Yes, this looks like PC bullshite but maybe they are asking for a name change so they do not become a target of SJW's.
Become a target or PETA and the SJW's or put 4.5 million that goes directly to helping the people you represent on the line? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

Slow your roll on this issue guys. Just because they ask for a name change on a charity event doesn't mean they are stocked with MSNBC watching SJW's.
Consider STJ has a LARGE population of Louisiana's kids in its care. Those kids need our help and through STJ they are getting worldclass cancer treatment.
My son was diagnosed 9 years ago. He finished his treatment and now is in a "post-treatment" research program where STJ will follow his progress for the rest of his life. They study the effect of his chemo and tailor the regimen for the next generation cancer kids.
The staff and nurses at both STJ and OLOL Children's Hospital were the absolute best medical professionals I have ever encountered.
STJ may have made a mistake here but haven't we all made mistakes in life? Why are you guys so easy to cast out an organization that has changed the face of cancer treatment over the last 50 years?

Flip that statement and it appears as though St. Jude is missing the big picture.

STJ saved my son's life.
Please keep sending your donations. I have also run fundraisers to support STJ and to date, we have sent more the $15,000 back to the organization.

STJ is a miraculous place. Their development team (fundraisers) are probably worried about some SJW targeting them and creating "national" headlines
Actually a better option anyway, these folks don't dump millions into fundraising nor engage in PC bullshite yet still get the job done. LINK

Agree and by implying that the word "coon" is directed towards any group of people is in fact....RACIST!

The day is coming that St Jude may be asked to change its name.

and if the group says frick it we'll give our $4.5m to another charity?
Exactly. It's not like St. Jude's is the only game in town.

We aren't the ones putting a 4.5 million donation on the line because a few assholes don't like the name raccoon hunt.

They get all the press, but there are tons of children's hospitals that need help.

They created this headline.

Wouldn't this technically make St. Jude racist? They are the ones insinuating that "coon" = "black people"
The poster does nothing to make that connection, so by St. Jude getting out in front of it, aren't they the ones making the comparison?

And if St Jude truly cares about helping kids as best they can, they won't risk losing donations due to asinine "worries" like whether or not a Coon Hunt might offend black people.
Or if a Raccoon Hunt offends animal rights activists.
Or if using the word Saint in their name offends atheists.
You ask why we would call out an organization for this if they've done so much good over the last 50 years - maybe it's because we want them to continue doing good work over the next 50 and not succumb to the destruction that comes with being a SJW.
