Wish I saw this sooner. We host an altar at my house for wife's family (Big Italians) and she makes about 400 for the family and sells the rest for i think 8$ a dozen. Don't even know what they cost at a store. She usually makes a bunch for thanksgiving and xmas also.

These are the best. Now, I really admire the humongous elaborate altars that parishes do, however, my heart is with my ancestors and I LOVE the in-home altars. All my great aunts had them.

I hope you find your homemade cookies, baw. Brocato's are good when you're in a real pinch, but they ain't ya mama's or your grandma's.

Rouses definitely sells these. I buy them all the time. I grew up several houses from Mr. Angelo and his sons, & daughter.



don't recall ever seeing these at Rouses

My guess would be Anthony’s on Government or Monjunis on Jefferson.

They’re both restaurants, but have Italian groceries.
