From what I gather, it's the "Brah, do you even?" standard.

For sure.

I don't mean you are in good shape. I mean you can do 20+ pullups, bench rep more than your body weight, etc. Like you go to the gym and are one of the strongest people there in terms of brute strength.

But you have zero muscle definition. Like, if someone guessed what you bench/squat by looking at you naked, they'd say less than an average chick.

Why can't someone be shredded and strong?

Shredded and weak

I am smart enough not to need functional strength, and women only really care about looks anyway

These shouldn't go hand in hand. I do some mild strength training to compliment my endurance endeavors. I've never tried, but I don't think I could one rep max my bodyweight (~175) but I can bang out some pull-ups.

Strong is definitely not defined as being overall healthy.

My grandpa was strong as a damn ox but his cardiovascular shape was certainly bad.

I agree. I can do 20+ pullups easily but I haven't seen a bench press since college.

Clearly meant you can't do one, the other, or both.

I'd rather have an extreme sterotypical dad body with a massive set of balls

frickin' OT

Simple question: Weak and shredded or strong and no visible muscle definition.

DAmn OT wants to over complicate everything.

The most amazing people are the short fat 40 year old guys who go in the gym and squat/bench heavy as frick for three reps, five times a week. I don't get it.

A lot of pretty boys in here. Give me the strength I need to get my daily work done is all I ask. Don't care how I look

For the record, all of you saying it's for the girls, just remember alphas don't chase. Girls are naturally pulled our way
