I think I'd choose shredded and weak. What do I need to be super strong for? I work a desk job and the most strength I need at home is probably to lift things into the attic or push a lawnmower up a hill. Neither of which is particularly hard.

FTR, I am neither weak nor strong nor shredded nor fat. I'm boringly average.

I'd probably say shredded and weak, but I shoot for both. I have some hobbies that being big and weak would probably be bad.

I still don't get how someone can be shredded and weak.

I'll stick to being shredded and strong. I'm definitely not as strong as I was before I started eating clean and in portions, but I'll get back there the right way.

How so?

I will work in an office the rest of my life.

How many Fortune 500 CEO’s are super strong?

But he's strong in that movie, tho.

I just don't know where we are drawing the line between the two.

I mean, if you think Brad Pitt is weak in Snatch you're out of your mind.

Not really. Being ripped will get you pussy, and if you can make a lot of money not doing any physical work for a career.

I still don't want to be a weakling.

Shredded and weak.

Shredded gets you laid. Strong gets you calls from your friends to help move their refrigerators all the time.

This. Big muscles are usually just for show anyways. Most people don't need physical strength in our modern economy. Physical strength would not reap nearly as many "rewards" so to speak as being ripped would.
