Actors. They whine when they don't get work and when they do. All the news stories tell about what insufferable pricks they are when they are doing a movie.

I agree! Waiters are a special breed of long suffering saints that do their job because they have a passion for serving the community. The least people can do is peel off a couple of hamiltons to leave as a tip for not getting the beating they deserve for complaining about the food they ordered.
I'm also tired of the OT perpetuating the myth that people gravitate towards the service industry because they can make decent money with no education, skills, or clean piss.

Teachers are up there- one of my best friends is a teacher and is constantly complaining about how busy he is and how hard his job is. You have an entire summer off, winter break, and a spring break. It's also funny when they bitch about wages. Teachers aren't the cream of the crop intellectually, for the most part. If teacher wages were raised they better hope they have tenure, because more qualified individuals would be gunning for those jobs. And speaking of tenure, another aspect of their job that no one else gets to enjoy. Keep a job for 10 years, then don't sleep with a student for the rest of your career and you're golden. Nothing else matters.
