I wouldn't take a punch from Tyson for any amount of money or prize. frick that. You would likely die without gloves on

Reminds me when Tyson got into an altercation with some civilians 10 years ago perhaps.
One of them was a female who claimed Tyson punched her.
I've never seen news reporters scoff so uniformly at a woman's accusation of violence before.

Shaq's fist is the size of your face. If he swung correctly and put all his strength and weight into hitting you in the face, he'd bash your face in, literally.
they'd both frick you up, but i'd think shaq has the greater possibility of actually killing you.

Shaq, no where near the punching power and NBA'rs tend to swing like girls.

I would have to think that at this point in their lives - Neither of them would actually try to kill you if you were taking a single punch for money. That being said - Tyson probably knows better than Shaq what kind of punch would be LESS likely to hurt somebody. Shaq could accidentally break your face for life while "taking it easy on you" whereas Tyson wouldn't.

All I'm saying is that I don't know what kind of experience shaq has at unloading on a punch. He without a doubt has the potential to punch with a lot more force than tyson. Does he have the skill set to maximize his potential energy for this punch? I don't know, and I don't want to find out.
He's 7'1" 350 with a fist the size of a volleyball. It would cover your whole face. He could break your jaw while also fracturing your orbital bones and nose.
Ill take it from shaq if I know he can't practice at all for it. If he gets to practice I want no part of the force he could conjure up thru his fist upon my face. The physics behind a well thrown punch from shaq says his punch would be more devastating.

That's the thing though, even against the best boxers in the world, Tyson's fights often times did not last more than a few seconds before he knocked them stone cold. Against a normal guy with bare buckles, I'd say chances are pretty good a punch from Tyson would at least be permanently debilitating and quite possibly fatal.

I would rather take a bare knuckle punch from Mike Tyson than a gloved punch. It would hurt a lot more but there would be less chance of my brain pinballing around my skull.

Shaq can practice all he wants. He still isn't going to hit as hard as Tyson. Tyson has god given power.
