People doing interstate speed on the feeder road chaps my arse. Recently two trucks blew past me at about 80 in a 50. They both worked at the place I was going, one guy took an arse chewing like a champ but the other smaller guy got me pretty riled.

I travel multiple freeways 45 minutes each way in Southern California. Every day is trench warfare traffic. I am unaffected by my own transgressions and that of others. Once I got out of my car and threatened to beat the shite out of someone about 20 years ago.

Short answer: no.

But what kind of reckless driving are we talking about? I always appreciate people hauling arse and getting out of my way. I get much angrier over people who don't know how to merge, speed up to cut people off who have their blinkers on, etc... in other words, rude asses piss me off. People who drive fast make me happy.

One time near Loyola I hit a turn admittedly a little fast and when I rounded the corner this guy and his son were standing in the middle of the street. He was dropping his son off at Stuart Hall.

I had to lock up the brakes and veer a little bit to avoid them, because they were standing in the middle of the street. I locked eye contact with the dad as I swerved out the way and he was furious. Like, ready to beat the shite out of me in public furious.

The dad left his son, jumped in his car, and tried to follow me. I saw him pulling a uturn in the middle of the street in my rear view mirror.

I thought I lost him, but when I made it to the red light at Carrollton and Washington he pulled right up on my bumper.

I wanted to avoid confrontation, and he followed me regardless of what turns I took and was screaming at me in my rear view mirror, so I pulled into the bienville rouses parking lot, when he got caught at red light, parked, and went into the store. I fricked around for a while and when I walked out, he was no where to be found.

I jumped in my car, put on my seat belt and when I looked forward to pull out here comes this crazy red faced mother fricker barreling through the parking lot.

As I pulled out, he pulled up next to me and I saw he had his window down getting ready to start yelling at me, so before he could say anything I rolled my window down and said "hey you should really slow down in parking lots. There are children here".

He was blindly furious at this point, and got out of his car and started walking towards me. I just shook my head and drove off as he was standing screaming with his middle finger raised in the parking lot. He tried to follow me again but I lost him.

I'm not uptight but people putting others at risk because they feel like a badass behind the wheel are idiots. I find keyboard badasses amusing

Edit: I'm sure it will never be you who kills someone. Hell, if I was certain I'd be the only one to die I'd fly home piss drunk from the bar every night

Old lady hit the side of my car like two weeks after I started driving. Dumb bitch sped off right into a red light, so I got behind her and snapped a pic of her license. I pulled off at a turn and the crazy bitch jumped a median to follow me so I pull into a parking lot and get out. She swerves behind me and takes down my license plate, I try to ask her to get out and that I called the cops, she ignores it, gives me the finger and speeds off.

Cop gets there, runs her plates and turns out she had a warrant out for her arrest. No clue what happened to her but I never heard again about her.

Car kept tailgating me way too aggressively, on the spillway which is what especially bothered me about it, in whichever lane I was in bc whatever lane I switched to they followed.
When traffic finally opened up they drove beside me and started cursing at me, still on the spillway, but they had their windows open because they thought that way I'd be able to hear them so I hit my wiper fluid and hit them in the face. I'd never handle it more aggressively than that and idk if I'd even so something like that again, you never know who you're dealing with, I'm a nobody and saw the killing of a someone in his own city w Will Smith.

Had an airmen of mine that kept getting tickets for driving stupid. Had gone to court with him a couple times to help him out, got on him for driving stupid in the hospital parking lot, on top of being a shite bag at work etc.

Get a phone call one day when we were headed to PT that he got pulled over driving through the General's housing on base. Doing 50 in a 25.

They ask me what my opinion is, and if I tell them he's good to go they will let him go with a ticket, otherwise they have to take him down to their holding cell due to the speed.

Kid was a total frickup and was a great opportunity to try and get through to him, told them to take him down there and we'd be down in a bit.

Just about everyday. Egregiously break the law on my roads and you will get dressed down pretty good. It's up to the offender whether or not it escalates to me doling out physical punishment. I have had to....many times. I am the regulator.

You should go out of your way to avoid confrontation. There's crazy, holding it together by a thread motherfrickers out there and you never know what they'll do. Just put the ego aside and move on. I say this from experience.

No guy with a girl name. I grew up and stopped the road rage stuff years ago. Didn't stop a guy from pulling a gun on me for no good reason awhile back.

You never know what's going on in someone else's head. Your best bet is to drive defensively, mind your own business and get to your destination safely and efficiently.

No, but I've called the police on another driver. A few years ago I was with a buddy driving on Hwy 72 in North MS around 4:30 am going deer hunting and we saw someone on the other side of the divided highway headed the same direction as us. Dude was obviously drunk and driving on a 65 mph divided highway in the wrong direction. We kept driving past our exit on the phone with highway patrol until we saw him get pulled over
