I know hardwood floors are thing "in" thing these days and I'm pretty sure people will call the other trashy, but I'm a fan of good ole carpet.

More comfortable to walk on, easier to make pallets on, fun to play on, and just homier to me.

The fiancée says carpet is good for only the bedrooms. I say put in the whole house.

Anyone else loyal to carpet?

Just a guess: this won't go as well as you think it will.

I prefer it in family/entertainment rooms so people can just crash out on the floor during games or whatever.

Precisely what a good, thick rug is for.

Hardwood floors are easier to clean, and I'm lazy, so there's that advantage.

Most folks, including me, would say this is repugnant.

I'm glad you have the courage to stand up for what you like.

Feast!
