Looks like it is right on the bridge. I'm sure you'll be able to see the firm's name on the building at eye-level from I-10.

Well he has to keep up with Gordon McKernan who has the nice office right along side of I-10 near the Marriott.

Between McKernan and, Callahan, Dudley Debossier, and the other local injury lawyers; they must account for over half the local ad space on TV.

Big Rigs don't stand a chance here in BR. Just about everyone here must have a check by now.

Louisiana only needs one "reform." Lower the jury trial limit to $5,000. Right now, the limit is $50,000 which allows judges, in the vast majority of cases that fall below that amount in value, to protect the interests of the attorneys who pay for their election campaigns (and buy helipads or copious amounts of advertising).

Then, when you have jury duty, go serve.

Right. Which is why I think this a marketing stunt. No way he has this much sustainable business with only 8 other lawyers; he only advertises in Baton Rouge. Unless he got a BIG lick from BP, I'll believe it when I see it.

Speaking of scummy personal injury lawyers, I heard Gordon McKernan at the pharmacy this weekend asking the pharmacist why it took so long fill a prescription, and then goes "do you know who I am." shite you not. The guy has bible verses in his office and website and asks pharmacy technician if she "knows who he is." Ambulance chasers are the worst.

I remember reading a few years ago that Morris Bart at that time was making as much money producing other attorneys commercials all over the country as he was in his legal business.

Sometimes during long commercials I forget what I am watching, but then Spencer Callahan Always comes on to remind me. For that, I am grateful.

I feel like all personal injury lawyers who "make it" spend all their time compensating for the fact they went to a crap law school and/or finished towards the bottom of their class

Outside of law students job hunting, does it really matter where anyone goes to school or where they ranked in class? After a few years practicing most people only care about results. I'd rather an lawyer who finished at bottom of a bad school that learned later how to work the system than an awkward lawyer from the top of Harvard who's only good for legal writing. The lawyers in their 30s and older clinging to their success for three years in law school (or maybe only one year if making law review and coasting) in their 20s are themselves compensating for either working high paying jobs jobs they hate or being middling lawyers.

He said the helipad could also tie in to the proposed tram that would link downtown and LSU, by allowing VIPs to land at the office, then catch a ride to Tiger Stadium, instead of taking a limo from Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport.

Well thank God they no longer have to be subjected to such impoverished conditions.
