Short version: Car in right lane is going 15+ over speed limit, cop shoots laser in rainy conditions, claims he caught me speeding at 55 in a 45 from 1015.6 feet away. Do cops record that distance anywhere? Because not only have i read that laser guns can be severely effected by rainy conditions, but even at a mere 700-800ft range the laser could be deflecting off more than one object thus rendering the reading inaccurate. I can't even believe i have to go through this bullshite.

In B4 Waze app

I've fought speeding tickets before and I usually win because the cops never show up.

After all that, you still didn't try to run away, fight the cop, or be a dick to him/her. Damn, you must be white.

They are not supposed to be using laser in the rain. That distance is fine when it isn't raining

The gun records it if they click a button, and they will write it on the ticket sometimes

He told me he got me at 1015 ft when I first rolled down my window, and I asked him to see the radar, and it said 1015.6 ft.

Someone please post here if this has ever worked to get you out of a ticket.

I've gotten out of plenty of tickets in my day, but never by antagonizing the cop. Hell, he could've been on his way to writing you a warning until you called him a liar. The way to fight a ticket is not with the cop. It's through the prosecutor.

All the other car had to do was be in relatively close proximity to be included in the laser deflection, and the reading could have bounced off my vehicle and hit his thus giving his reading and not my vehicles reading .Ive already said i wasn't speeding.
