Section 8 complaints are not racial by any means. I've seen more white trash AND their white trash friends in the big Section 8 complex off Seigen Lane here than any POS blacks. The complex is not that old but in a few more yrs, it'll look like the typical ghetto projects in N.O. pre Katrina. Myers is a rabble rousing flaming a-hole atty & always has been. When he owned Tiger Rag, he was always firing off lawsuits against LSU & he pushed Daddy Dale so hard Dale literally challenged him to a fist fight. Broadhead did, too. His claim to be fighting for the rights of LSU students is pure BS. He only cares bout the money they will bring in & could care less about the surrounding neighborhood.

8 college age males blocking the street while playing basketball on a goal they had dragged to the end of their driveway. Had to beep my horn to get them to move. (Before anyone says it - all white kids)

Point being, this is a family neighborhood and I shouldn't have to tell 8 young adults to get the frick out of the middle of the street. This would be all cool around campus but not in the middle of SouthDowns. Not happy that property is becoming a fraternity house.

Wow.

Can you have fun?

Yes because a grown man with a law degree and properties trolling in real life isn't pathetic at all. It's comedy.

I for one am full of lulz when I hear about people trying to screw with the value of other people's largest investment.

It was more a comment on their general lack of "give a shite" about anyone around them other than themselves than about my ability to have fun. I don't jog down the center of the street and block traffic because I care about my neighbors and their right to drive unimpeded. Not because I can't.

A bunch of college students who want to party all night, play B ball in the middle of the street and blare loud music don't belong in the middle of a bunch of family houses with sleeping kids and jobs to get up for. I still tear it down some nights but I am mature enough to not frick with my neighbors while doing it.

This is EXACTLY why we have Zoning laws.

I own my house in southdowns and usually have 2 or 3 friends crashing on the weekends. Throwing a football in the street on a badass afternoon is pretty common for me.

However we move out the way when cars come. They were playing basketball. You cant just quit in the middle of a possession!

Not arguing that. It's the damn tournament time of year after all.

That being said, it all points to what this whole thread is about.

That dude has always been and will always be a douche. He has some serious issues obviously.

I dated a girl who worked for Tiger Rag in the early '80's; the dude's a total cockbite.

I have never seen the law of three unrelated people living in a house together actually enforced. Almost everyone I know post college in BR isn't abiding by this rule, but I guess it's up to the discretion of the landlords
