NEW UPDATE 5/13

UPDATE: LINK

quote:

The South Carolina pastor whose wife fatally shot herself last month told mourners in a eulogy that he visited her body four separate times — and even tried to “raise her from the dead.”

Mica Miller, 30, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in Lumber River State Park, NC, on April 27 after she was reportedly heard crying for several minutes.

Her death was casually announced by her husband John-Paul Miller, 44, during a sermon to his congregation at Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach.

Updates:

Mica’s sister was posting for months about her concerns for her sister’s safety. Also, the pastor took Mica’s phone and posted on social media pretending to be her.

Mica had gotten a no contact order the day before her death and a friend reported that she talked to Mica about her future plans and how relieved she was to be moving on from the pastor (JP).

The pastor was already seeing a new girl named Suzie. Suzie was married to a guy named Chris who was a quadriplegic. Chris mysteriously died by drowning in a pool, found dead at the bottom. Suzie commented afterwards that it was for the best because of how difficult his life was with his medical issues - that God provides mercy when it’s needed. JP facilitated the funeral ceremony.

JP admitted in a sermon that he would go through Mica’s phone and once found 18 “enemies” texting her that she could contact them if she felt unsafe around JP. He used the anecdote to tell the women of the congregation that they should trust their husbands and not the enemies who wish to do them harm.

In a different sermon, JP bragged that he had access to a private plane to fly to any state he wanted at any time. And that his enemies could look up in the sky to see him waving as he flew to Miami.

JP preached that he wanted to pray to God for a hot wife. He said this before splitting with Mica.

No links but this all comes from social media posts and clips from his sermons which are going around on social media.

New update:

Dr. Johnson said, “Based on the nature of the wound, that it is consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. And it was not in the back of the head, as it has been speculated.”

Mica's final social media post was a selfie that read: "When terrible terrible TERRIBLE things happen to you… (yall know what I’m talking about;) RPF: resting peace face." (photo below)

According to court filings, Mica had filed for divorce from Miller weeks before she died.

This will be an interesting Dateline episode

So I listened to the speech

It wasn’t really “bazaar” unless it was after a normal sermon and just mentioned in passing at the end.

“Pastor.”

ETA: yeah I listened to it too and it wasn’t bizarre at all. Except for the part where he asked them to still come to church and “give” over the next few weeks. For starters, why would they not come to church because your wife died? Secondly, announcing to the members that your wife killed herself seems like an odd time to request that they still continue to give money to you and the church.

It's people like this that gives the actual church a bad name. Majority of them do not longer follow actual biblical scripture any longer.

South Carolina is where the ARC church goons originated. My brother in law is good buddies with Perry Noble. He started the church that has funneled money into the Clemson football program for years. The biggest loud mouth POS I have ever been around. All these guys are hucksters.

My office is not far from this church. Someone I know stopped going there because this pastor announced to the congregation he'd been unfaithful to his wife. This was maybe 10 years ago. I don't know if this is the woman he cheated with or someone else, but she is not his first wife. She also had filed for divorce. Not sure if he killed her. Her mental issues were pretty well documented. She was found in a rural area of NC about 1.5 hours from Myrtle Beach, so if he did it and transported the body, there's likely forensics.

Why would he even show up to church if his wife just killed herself shortly before? I assume he preached a sermon without even mentioning her death, then suddenly mentions it at the end. "Oh by the way..."

I guess the question that needs to be asked is what did Hillary have on him or his wife?

A picture of him apparently out with his new girlfriend a few days after is floating around, as well.

Probably he should find a different profession.

When James Carville gets on TV while wearing LSU gear while he uses profanity and vitriol to disparage Trump, etc. is Carville representing LSU? No, and no one would imply same even though it’s unseemly.

If one could actually identify what the Church is, then they would also NOT equate the actions of this quintessential western invention of self-made pastors over mega assemblies with the Church.

God is not a god of disorder but the Creator of all that is good…it’s the heresies we see in the west today that cause confusion and pain in the hearts of people…as Christ said they’re wolves among the sheep.

He met her, in the youth group at his church, when she was 14 and he was 28. She was groomed by him. She wanted a divorce weeks earlier.
Social media tells Luke's to tell us the "groomers" and "pedos" are of a certain orientation or lean a political way. Yet time after time it's people like this "christian" who are the real predators.

That's what "48 Hours" would say. Just watched a similar episode...
