Some weather history for the nerds on here

Didn't the hurricane experts predict a below normal hurricane season this year?

It is likely that this type of system is much more common than the record shows. It didn't form via tropical origins and spent it's entire life cycle in the mid-lats over cooler water. It is a very small system that got tucked into an very small area that was favorable for development. I would argue that this system says nothing about climate change or the coming hurricane season. It's just an oddity of mother nature.
