Some things really make you believe in Christmas magic. There’s still good in this world.

Y’all showed your true colors, your generosity, your Christmas spirit and the solidarity of this place.
In a world full of scammers and grifters and thieves, of corrupt charities, and politicized everything, it’s hard to keep believing in Good Will Towards Men.
The past two days have renewed my faith that the hearts of men (and women) have not yet failed, and given me hope that all isn’t lost.
Baws and Bawettes, Merry Christmas. Y’all
Made a big difference in some lives and shined a light in the darkness.
Pay it forward.

Sorry, a poster started a thread in a very dark place, and the OT dropped its usual hard shell and showed real compassion and love and helped pull a man down on his luck out the dark. Then finding out that he’d lost his job we pooled our resources and insisted that he let us give his kids a good Christmas. Some doubted and thought we were being hoodwinked, but the picture shows us that we really did make a difference and helped out a family in need and it went to a good cause.

No, Y’ALL are awesome. This was a group effort and it takes the power of a place like this to make it happen. This is a collective effort and the culmination of days of work. I just wanted to share that it did indeed go where we intended it to. I know we’ve been burned before and it’s hard to trust.
