South Texas weather reports suggest 3 inch hail possible at 1-4 am.

Weather map forecast for next 8 hours shows a lot of thunder storms across southern US

Uh, Louisiana Home owner's buttholes are puckering thinking about what this means for premiums next year. How many more companies does this one run out the state?

Maybe a creditable case for liability in the salting of the atmosphere that was done in California Monday.

Probably sliding some big bucks to the National Weather Service to name this storm and get out of paying

They only get to frick consumer with those clauses. The commercial coverage on solar plants don’t have any of that. If it’s bad and they can’t mitigate, it’ll be a decent pay out. Only good thing is panel prices are in the tank right now.

It will be interesting to see how this solar panel stuff plays out in South Texas over the next 30 years.

It really depends on what they used. Cheapo Chinese modules on fixed racking is probably going to get smoked. Good tier 1 on a tracker has a pretty good chance of a low incidence of module damage.

They are liable to give this system a name for maximum pain with a named storm deductible incident when it is not even a hurricane.

What a dumb comment. Teslas don't run on solar power. They run on a battery that gets charged at a charging station. The source of their power has as much solar power or nat gas sourced electricity as what your double wide likely gets.

You probably don't care. Any vehicle that isn't oil powered is likely bad to you

My dad signed a deal for 270 acres at $850 and acre per year for 35 years with a 5 year extension. There’s a 3% annual increase per year built in. Should be pretty good money coming in per year for the next 35 years if it last that long.

Did he just sign an option with a developer or is there an actual project starting? We’ve got tons of options floating on our lands but the ones that actually get to interconnection are few and far between with all the grid congestion issues right now.

Regarding the 35 years, there’s no reason it wouldn’t. These assets are paid of pretty quick and if they elect the longer term tax incentive. It’s an ATM years 8-35 with low operating costs.

Signed but with an option to back out. They pay something like 8k to 10k a year for 4 years with a one year extension until they bulldoze everything. They can back out but are paying the 8 to 10k for now.

After the project starts it should pay 230k a year with a 3% increase for 30 to 35 years.

Last I heard they want to move forward in 2 years. I’m about to shoot every Nilgai I see

Pretty easy to verify. Are you speaking of anything around El Dorado?
