La Caretta on Bluebonnet usually has a band in the parking lot. I've always had a good time there.

absurdly overpriced drinks
You also won't find many places with stronger Rita's. That's why they are $10 a piece

This thread just makes me realize how sad the mexican food scene is in BR.

It's all Tex Mex anyway. I'm not picky so I like the food at most of the places mentioned in here

I don't try to openly trash the place. Mainly because I have friends who swear by Superior. But it really isn't anything special.

Yep, one of the reasons I'm excited to get back to Vegas for work.
El Limon and La Tiendita are really about the only places I go to here. I remember as a kid thinking Ninfas and Las Palmas were good, then I moved away and came back and tried them. Rough. Las Palmas served enchiladas with hormel chili on top.
To OP question, I drove by Fernandos and El Paso this morning in the Coursey/Sherwood area and both had a few tents step, so looks like they are doing something.

Check Kip's itinerary. Wherever he's at will be interesting.

I applaud them, I just question BR's love affair with it.
They crush the chick birthday party demographic

I'd probably Uber or get a DD if imbibing tonight. Chances of checkpoints are strong.

Mestizo's will attract the 30k millionaires.
