1. You watch too much TV.
2. You are gullible.
The best advice I can give you is to stop believing everything you see on TV.

Using the response "it was on the history channel!" Is like citing the national equirer for a documentary.

It's kind of surprising the amount of people that are buying in to this nonsense.

None. If there was, it wouldn't be a debate 70 years later.
Like the "debate" about whether the earth is flat, whether astronauts landed on the moon, whether "rods" are flying around in the atmosphere and whether the U.S. Army is taking over the state of Texas in a military exercise called "Jade Helm."
That's not debate, that's just a bunch of crackpots jumping up and down and believing everything they see on television's equivalent of Weekly World News.

The History Channel is all over the place. Last week they had a segment on that said Hitler escaped to a sub base in Antarctica.

Did not watch the show or read too much into the articles. I do enjoy reading conspiracy theories though. It's almost like reading Tom Clancy or sci-fi. With that being said I am sure there are many "widely accepted facts," that did not at all happen the way we were taught they did. Sometimes I think if the government spilled the beans on everything it might just make our heads explode....or nothing interesting at all happened and this whole time they were being transparent. Schrödinger's Hitler, I mean cat....

Hitler died in Australia in 1973 after a bad acid trip.

If the Devil is participating in the Devil's threesome, does he still have to be named separately?

I read Soldat by Siegfried Knappe a while back.
He was in the bunker at the end when Hitler killed himself. I don't recall if he actually saw the body or not but he believed that he died in the bunker. Based on the chaos that he describes at the end, I don't think it's possible to have made it out of there. Everyone was closing in.

the history channel also does shows on hunting big foot and ancient aliens coming to earth and interacting with cavemen. are we supposed to assume those are true as well?
DON'T YOU BAD-MOUTH ANCIENT ALIENS. THEY ARE NOT INVOLVED IN THIS DISCUSSION. THEY'VE DONE NOTHING WRONG

I concur, by that time the Germans were using scorched earth method and Hitler told everyone to die at their posts basically. Don't claim to be a Nazis expert but if Hitler actually, fully, 100% believed in the super race and the fatherland and all that, then why would he go to South America? Did he think they could populate a colony with enough thoroughbreds to keep the master race going?

if things were as tight as you claim, this TV show would have never happened because there'd have been no viewers for it.
I haven't watched the show and am expressing no judgment on whether the theory it proposes is true, but the argument you make in the above quoted passage is not valid.
There are viewers for TV shows about 9/11 being an inside demolition, the moon landing being faked on a movie set in the desert, JFK being murdered by God knows how many different people or entities, aliens landing in New Mexico and even autopsies being performed on their bodies, not to mention a whole host of other wild claims and theories. Conspiracy nuts will watch a TV show about practically any conspiracy theory, frequently with zero evidence to support it and in spite of a mountain of evidence to refute it. You can't simply cite the fact that some people believe something as evidence of its truth. Some people believe in unicorns.

If this guy is on your side, you should probably take a long look at yourself and rethink your position.

After watching one of those programs my mother is convinced mermaids are real. It was on TV...
I won't lie, I watched the original mermaid "documentary" and about 30 minutes into the show, I pulled up my computer to verify this thing was legit. After finding out it was fake, I was mostly relieved that I wasn't going crazy, but I was also a bit disappointed to have my dreams squashed in such a manner. I was entertaining the existence of mermaids for about 20 minutes that evening and it was a glorious thing.
