Yep. I'm in the Jackson area too. Worked out today and none of the Ole Piss fans said a word to me. They are usually very chatty. Lol

is ole miss their life?
honestly, yeah. The woman is pretty over the top. Biggest thing that irks me is in dam near every conversation she somehow manages to work in how she "hates BR" & how she "can't wait til her husband retires so they can move back to oxford"

Have some compassion for them. The one year they feel they are finally not the " SEC RUNTS" then boom they are the RUNTS again.

My Ole Miss grad neighbor actually told me on Friday that he knew OM was going to have a very hard time winning in Tiger Stadium. He said he had a bad feeling LSU freshmen were waking up.

on Friday, mine said her husband was inside, getting worried & wondering why some of the experts were picking LSU to win. Like it we were Jacksonville state or some shite, lol. LSU may win? Absurd.

I work in the jackson area and when I went home friday, I was honestly dreading work on Monday morning...I get the feeling that it won't be so bad after all...

I expect to be treated like a hero by the Miss St fans...

Ole miss fans are such a mixed bag. Seems like most are the arrogant for no damn reason type that suck but there's also a lot of good ole people (more like Miss St fans).

I live in Mississippi, and I couldn't be happier with my Tigers getting the win last night. Fortunately, most of my Ole Miss friends are decent folks who don't say much beyond good-natured ribbing (which I heard a good bit of last year). In fact, one of them was at the game last night and had a great time despite the outcome.

At any rate, it IS nice not having to see "Hotty Toddy" posts all over my FB feed.

It sounds like your neighbors are just assholes.

I met some very nice OM fans during and after the game. We had a couple of very cool ones sitting with us in 303. Even though we were baiting Bo they took it in stride.

The funny thing is neither of you had shite to do with the outcome of the game. A bunch a guys that you don't know lost to another bunch of guys that you don't know. The difference is the color of their uniforms. Don't make this shite more important than it is. But with that said, if LSU (as a university goes to shite) then Baton Rouge will turn to shite. So it's important in that regard. On second thought, LSU needs to KILL, KILL, KILL!

Well...last year I probably wouldn't have talked to any Rebel neighbors for a while after the game either.
