So I'm growing a beard, and wife hates it....

I've never really gone this far with it, because she "cuts me off," or threatens to until I shave. This doesn't bother me that much because I am conditioned to once a month or worse anyway.
At this point, I like my fur. It's got some grey in it, but it's mine. She's really pissed about it, and even went so far as to say it looks "trashy," and that she "would never have been with me if I had facial hair when we met." It's all bullshite and her just throwing a fit.
I guess the reason for this post is that I feel I now have a sort of "pussy control" over her. I can probably make some demands in lieu of shaving, but to be honest - I just want to let it grow and see how it matures.
What should my demands be (outside of making fook)?

I live by the motto "pick my battles". And there is waaaaaay too much other shite I like to do that I will battle over. Growing a beard? If she doesn't like it, I'm shaving that shite off. But that's just me.
