So apparently Scotland wants to secede from the UK

ETA for accuracy: England and Wales kick arse. So does Ireland. So does Scotland, as a matter of fact, but they'd be slightly less awesome independent.

I've spent some time in the UK and the people are awesome. A lot cooler than most rural Americans I've met.

I heard on the radio that if indeed the vote passes, Scotland only has a few months to decide what they are going to do about their currency, military, intelligence agencies etc. It can't be easy creating a new country from scratch in a matter of months

They will keep the British pound, which shows you how dumb this vote is. Their currency will be produced and regulated by a foreign government.
