re: Smuggling liquor on carnival cruise(thread about "bye" typo)

I went on a cruise with 15 friends this summer. All of us had 2 rum runners each. Nobody got caught. Me and a buddy didn't get our luggage right away. We were sweating it. At one point during the cruise, a buddy of mine just had his on the deck because he was sick of going back to the room. Security saw him, and a wild goose chase ensued. He got away.

Bring stuff that mixes with soda (rum, whiskey, etc.), and buy the unlimited refill cup. We would ask them not to fill our drinks all of the way. They new what was up but didn't care because we tipped them.

I'm not reading this thread and I'm sure it's been mentioned but buy rum runners off amazon and hide them in your suitcase.
