My barber is 85 years old. Cut my grandfathers hair, my fathers hair, my hair, and my son's hair. He's still in great health. Has no problem getting around. Still a very sharp guy, but I know his days are numbered. In fact, this inspired me to give him some extra appreciation next time I see him.

George's closed A few weeks ago. Everyone on Facebook was crying about it but the only people I ever saw in there were 80+ years old. I only went there once and I lived 5 minutes away since 2004.
I used to go frequently when I lived in shreveport for 4 years. The breakfast was so much cheaper than Strawn's.

Jay's Donuts. I had been going there after church on Sundays since I was little. The Sunday before they shut it down, I went with my childhood best friend and split a dozen glazed. We signed the building like everyone else, I get sad thinking about it. Still by far the GOAT donuts. Eminent Domain is a bitch.
