He said Apple opened and closed in BR.

As far as I know, they opened at Mall of LA and have never shut their doors. It was the first Apple store in LA as a matter of fact. Its still there.

The first Mac-apple store was next to where Hearts is now on Airline Hwy. between Kinko's and Hearts. Small little place. Didnt last that long.

That would be a dealer not an "Apple Store".

Website is a complete joke.

That website is a someone who is just posting info. It is not the actual website for the development. All of the stores that are put down as possible stores are just what someone posted on the website, nothing official.

Whole Foods would open in Covington/Mandeville first before going to Slidell. A Covington store could be in the works.

The development is looking very nice. Going to look great once phase 2 starts coming in. I grew up off that exit (wasn't an exit until 2008) in quail ridge. It's awesome to see it actually happen.

Slidell, the armpit of St Tammany.

If you believe this then you've never been to the northern part of St Tammany. Bush, Sun, 6th ward, Pearl River... All way worse than anything in Slidell.

Yeah you have to ignore those people. Lots of nice places around Slidell. Sure there are bad areas but I would have absolutely no reservations about raising my family there.

Wholefoods is in towne center in baton rouge. Pretty much similar tenants as the list im seeing for this fremaux one.

Kohl's and PetSmart are the anchors. A Home Depot would round it out nicely. They're not in the same league as the upscale stores in Towne Center.

I grew up in slidell and yeah they are plenty of nice areas and you can easily avoid most the trash. That being said I wouldn't move back there not because of the trash, it would be the fact that there's not much to do for a person my age.
