How so? California's impact on the country is overwhelmingly liberal. It's a regulatory leader for the country and arguably the heart of the American progressive movement.
So living there, especially in that region, would place you as a part of it to some extent. I've never indicated that I'd be living next door to radicals if I took up residence in Orange County or even Marin County. But it's not the same as living in an environment where the news, your neighbors, the schools, the city government and the state government are at least partially aligned with your own views.
If you're a devout progressive, I understand not wanting to live in Texas even though Austin is a very liberal city and there are plenty of blue areas.

I understand. But Prop 8 and the DP in CA are both defunct. To me it appears that if issues reach the individual, some conservatism comes out. But either conservatives in CA feel that their overall efforts are futile (state wide elections) or they're just not that concerned with curbing the louder and more active liberal movements in the state. Basically, I can't tell if it's lukewarm conservatism or just being worn down from watching your elected officials take action beyond their mandate.

I would have shown them one of the great contributions of the white male to civilization: military organization.
Every single person who wanted to get in, I would organize into maniples and break that line. shite, that would be fun.
Just form a wedge with two lines, control the sides and punch through the middle.
These people assume that you won't get violent with them, and are relying on your restraint. But let me tell you, if someone tried to prevent me from getting an education - especially one I paid for - I wouldn't hesitate to come to blows. I don't give a shite what their dumb-arse philosophy is. Even if I agreed with their message, I wouldn't let them stop me. No one is going to keep my violent, white arse out of the classroom.
