Since the recent Virginia shooter was gay...

Does that mean it's now inappropriate to fly the rainbow flag at/on government buildings?
I know it stands for courage to some folks, but when I look at it now all I see is the terror in the young reporters face as the shots were being fired.
Also, will Obama sing Amazing Grace at the upcoming funeral?
