Full-blown migraine in high school when I was 16. I hadn't had one before, so when I started seeing spots I didn't think it was a big deal. Got to my last class, teacher was calling us up to her desk to get papers...I couldn't stand up. Couldn't feel my arms or legs.
They had to drag me out of class to the office, mom picked me up, I spent the rest of the day in complete misery curled up in bed, only getting up to puke. It was over by the next morning, but just those few hours of nausea, light sensitivity, sound sensitivity, and a headache so bad that it felt like something was trying to drill out of my head from the inside out....

Luckily I've only had a mild migraine since - huge headache and light/sound sensitivity, but no auras, numbness or nausea. It was during the Chick-fil-A bowl last year though, and I couldn't leave. I wanted to put my head through the wall.

I had an earache as a kid that kept me in bed for over a week. The sound of my own heartbeat tormented me. Worst pain I have ever experienced. I cried from the pain .

Last week I had the flu. It was awful. Not sure if it's the sickest I've ever been, but it's up there

I got a parasite from swimming in Caney Lake near Minden. I lost 13lbs in 2 days. I couldn't keep any nutrients in me. Mono sucked balls too.

When I was pregnant with my twins, I had "morning" sickness from 7 weeks-25 weeks. Doctor finally prescribed Zofran. Relief.

A year ago both kids (Age 2) came down with stomach flu...then I got it. For 3 days all 3 of us were sick. Awful. My mom is a nurse and wouldn't come over because she was afraid to catch it. Ugh.

Food poisoning a few times that sucked. Hung over after a few too many shots of Jager and tequila. God awful the next morning...and the next.

Guillain-Barré syndrome, in the ICU for two months, on a ventilator for over a month, paralyzed from head to toes, lost roughly 50lbs, total stay in the hospital 5 months. Had to relearn every activity of daily living. Still in rehab trying to learn how to walk again.

Needless to say, this has been one rough ride.

Wow. Pray you continue to recover and it be quickly.

I got tagged in the hospital following a failed CIA assassination attempt (cant get into details about it, and it could have been another intel agency and/or cutout, not ruling that out, nobody knows who's working for who anymore)

A few years ago I got sick, thought it was just chest congestion. Went to the Dr. twice, got meds, but didn't help.
Finally after being sick for 6 days or so, not eating, not able to hold my head up, I went to the emergency room.
Found out I had a double lung infection, was dehydrated, and spent 6 days in the hospital.
The first 6 days of being sick and the next 2 days in the hospital were by far the worst days of my life as far as being sick.
The 1st 2 nights in the hospital were the worst as well.

Kind of the same here. I had a fever of 104 when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. I felt fine until suddenly my vision got blurry, white flashes of light were exploding, and someone was drilling a jackhammer into my skull. Took three days off with a subsequent cold that took over my body.

Recently, I had an allergic reaction plus food poisoning to rotten salmon. It looked like I had gotten bitten by millions of mosquitoes, my breathing was short and winded, diaherrea like a broken sink, and scratched myself to the point where I left scratch marks. Two pills later, all that was left was the diaherrea and leftover marks. MISERABLE 4 hours of my life.

I feel like when I get sick every 2-3 years I get really sick

I once couldn't hold down foods or liquids for seventeen days, by my count. I camped out by the toilet for two weeks, sipping water from a gallon jug throughout the day. I knew it would be coming back up, but I had to keep some fluids in to keep from dying.

Just as suddenly as it came, it went away. I never went to the doc, so I still don't know what it was.

I guess I have been blessed enough to never be REAL sick... BUT.. I have been put down before... I had a lump on my sac and had to get it removed. The needle was like 5 inches long.. [TO DEADEN THE PAIN]....

The doc put like three feet of gauze after and said I had to take it out after 10 days...

It took almost an hour to pull that out...

Think about it.............
