Should I take I-10 or the 210 Loop when driving through Lake Charles?

I haven’t been through LC in almost two years, but I’ll be driving though the weekend after next to see LSU play Mississippi State. I heard the 210 Bridge is going through construction, but I know the I-10 bridge is also under repair.

Which route is better?

210 loop is a beautiful route. Lots of lovely scenery.

I-10 is a little shorter of a route but the bridge may collapse on you

Choose wisely

Google maps has been pretty good for me on choosing. I only use the loop if the I-10 bridge has worse traffic

It's 2020, get you a traffic app and go whichever way is faster

It is a crap shoot. I-10 is much faster with no traffic. But anything can back it up really quick. Also, there is a huge speed trap on the one side of the bridge. Speed limit drops to 55 and cops are always there..

Check traffic 5 min before hitting the interchange.

If there is no traffic either way then 10 slightly faster
