The preliminary investigation indicates that on Saturday, October 9th, 2021, shortly after 5:00 a.m., a Louisiana State Police Trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a blue Chevrolet Silverado on LA Hwy 42 east of LA HWY 73 (Jefferson Hwy) in East Baton Rouge Parish. The driver refused to stop and shot at the Trooper. The Trooper returned fire and the pursuit continued on LA Hwy 73 to Hooshootoo Road, where gunfire was exchanged. The suspect fled the scene on Hooshootoo Road at the Tiger Bend Bridge. We believe the suspect is in the area and is considered armed and dangerous.

He lived there since 1976 and has all his duplexes paid off many times over.
He won’t leave, I offered to buy him a place in a better part of town.
He been offered over $200k for each of his duplexes, no inspection, and refuses to sell out. There a real state company trying to buy that whole block out which I see it happening. They been coming around since Amazon announced the warehouse being built at Cortana.
Those duplexes are solid just need total guts.
I had 6 of them before I sold out. I paid $30k a unit sold $169k each. They have a lot of room with a decent size backyard, street floods near Susan duplexes don’t, and close to a bus line to Cortana.
There a few old people that he is good friends with and they all own their duplexes refusing to sell out.
Gwen and Susan probably the roughest spot in that U shaped area.

I think it must have started in Ascension parish because it says the traffic stop was initiated on 42 east of 73. I think there isn't any part of 42 east of 73 in EBR.

Yep. About a mile from the parish line at Bayou Manchac.

Highland road is the continuation of Hwy. 42. The initial shot was at the Highland rd Old Jefferson intersection.

The initial was on 42 East of 73 in Ascension where 42 turns East towards Galveztown.

why does it trigger 23 peeps that some that don't live in da Rouge ask wtf Hoo Shoo Too is. silly arse name requires questions and answers. I did look it up since there was no help in this thread.
